BHSN, the provider of its business legal AI solution ‘allibee’, announced on the 27th that it has raised KRW 10 billion in Series B funding. Existing investor Altos Ventures participated in this follow-on round, alongside new investors Korea Development Bank and WOORI Financial Capital Co., Ltd. With this round, BHSN’s cumulative funding has reached KRW 16 billion.

Founded in 2020, BHSN develops and provides a B2B legal AI solution, allibee, which incorporates a proprietary legal large language model (BHSN Legal-LLM), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and patented Legal OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology for legal document digitization. allibee is offered in three core service modules as following and all services are both as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and On-Premises solutions.

  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) for integrated contract management
  • Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) for unified handling of legal advisory and litigation
  • Business Agent for legal and business research based on legal data including laws, precedents, government policies and legal-specialized AI search engine

Notably, allibee is the only Korean domestic solution to offer an independently developed legal-specialized AI contract review engine. This engine allows for rapid, in-depth analysis and review of complex legal documents such as contracts and legal opinions within seconds. It also features an AI-powered search engine optimized for accessing government policy documents and internal corporate reports. Through these capabilities, allibee supports informed decision-making and risk identification, making it invaluable in areas requiring legal and compliance expertise. It also enhances operational efficiency across management, HR, business development, and sales functions. allibee is currently in use by major Korean industry-leading enterprises and new contracts are also underway with companies in pharmaceuticals, distribution, and other sectors, with service launches targeted for within this year.

With the new funding, BHSN aims to further refine its proprietary legal AI technologies and expand marketing efforts, thereby enhancing both the technological edge of allibee solution. The company also plans to focus on entering Asian markets, starting with Japan based on BHSN’s Japan subsidiary, while expanding collaboration with government and public sector agencies through allibee’s Business Agent, optimized for legal research and precedent retrieval.

A representative from Altos Ventures commented, “BHSN delivers solutions that significantly improve enterprise efficiency and productivity through its outstanding legal AI technologies. Having secured major Korean enterprise clients, the company’s expansion into Japan is an expected next step. We see strong potential for global growth and are pleased to continue our support.”

Jungkeun Lim, the Founder and CEO of BHSN, stated, “As we enter the era of AI transformation (AX), the structure and direction of enterprise operations are evolving. Interest in B2B legal AI solutions like allibee is growing rapidly. With this investment, we’ve validated the real-world value of our services and will now focus on strengthening global competitiveness through differentiated technology and service excellence.”
