Alistair is the Supervisor of Emerging Technology for Latham & Watkins.  Alistair works cross-functionally with a global team of lawyers and technologists to identify, develop and validate strategic innovation opportunities across the firm. Prior to Latham, Alistair created and led iManage RAVN’s presales operations and advised on product strategy, working with top global law firms and FTSE 100 in-house legal teams to design and implement AI powered data extraction tools for due diligence and contract reporting. 

Before working in legaltech, legal ops and innovation, Alistair began his career as a banking lawyer, working across London and Hong Kong in private practice and in-house, for investment banks and private equity funds. Alistair is also a programmer fascinated by the intersection of law and coding.  As such, Alistair enjoys getting his hands dirty, coding and training different machine learning algorithms to better understand the opportunities and limitations of consumer and B2B AI solutions.
