PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) has announced exclusive alliances with two generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) companies, Harvey and ContractPodAi, at this year’s TechLaw Fest. This alliance aims to help legal departments streamline their processes, improve decision-making and generate solutions faster. The alliances align with NewLaw’s strategy to ensure improved efficiency for legal clients. NewLaw is PwC’s legal business arm.
Harvey is a leading professional services platform engineered with AI and is used in law, tax and finance. The company was founded in 2022 and has raised over $200 million in venture capital from investors. Meanwhile, Leah by ContractPodAi helps with legal processes, provides precedence-based analysis and manages documents among others.
Eric Chin, Director of PwC NewLaw, states that this “pioneering approach underscores PwC’s commitment to delivering human-led and tech-enabled legal solutions to its global clientele”, and the platforms will “empower lawyers in Singapore with the most advanced legal technology to streamline legal processes, enhance decision making, and deliver superior legal support.”
