DISCO, a legal technology company, has appointed Eric Friedrichsen as its new chief executive officer. Friedrichsen will take over for current CEO Scott Hill, who will transition to the position of board chair. The appointment follows an extensive search for a leader with experience in scaling businesses, leading high-functioning companies and building strong company cultures.
Friedrichsen brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the CEO of Emburse, a provider of expense management technology. He also held executive positions at Marketo Inc. and SAP Concur. Friedrichsen’s appointment is expected to drive the next stage of growth and expansion for DISCO as the company aims to enhance its approach.
Friedrichsen expressed his excitement about leading DISCO and his commitment to the company’s mission of making the law work better for everyone. He is set to start in his new role on April 29.
