London-based legal artificial intelligence (AI) start-up, Robin AI, is to enter the Singapore market after receiving funding from an investment firm owned by the Singapore Government.
Founded in 2019, Robin AI currently works from a HQ in London and an office in New York, with a new location in Singapore being added soon, according to UKTN. The Robin AI platform offers clients the ability to automate legal tasks to free up vital time for workers across the profession.
“We have seen incredible user traction with what we believe is the smartest AI contract copilot on the market. But this is just the beginning. We are building the AI platform for the legal sector, a service that deeply understands every aspect of the legal function, from drafting contracts, researching case law to explaining legal concepts, our AI will help people tackle every legal task,” said CEO and co-founder, Richard Robinson.
Now counting 140 full-time staff members, Robin AI also added Temasek director Ming You See to its board of directors following the Series B investment round. Several high-profile companies are clients of Robin AI, such as Pepsico, PwC, Yum! Brands and BlueEarth Capital.
