Out of hundreds of applicants, only 30 top startups will earn a spot to pitch live at LegalTechTalk 2025. Each will take the stage on Day 1, presenting their vision to a panel of leading VCs and industry experts - assessed on innovation, market potential, scalability, and pitch delivery.

The stakes? Unmatched exposure, global recognition, and the chance to showcase your startup to the entire legal tech industry. The winner will take the main stage at LegalTechTalk 2026, gaining a spotlight opportunity to present in front of key investors, decision-makers, and industry leaders - will it be you?

Application process

You're just 3 steps away from your next big break

Fill in our application form below and provide a link to your pitch deck. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t hear from us right away! We’ll review applications for up to two weeks after the deadline closes and you’ll receive an update via email on your progress.

Your pitch deck should include the following:

  • Bio (no longer than 250 words) – A concise overview of your solution, the problem it solves and your mission.
  • Number of Current Employees – Let us know the size of your team.
  • Value Proposition (in 2 sentences or less) – A clear, concise summary of your business and what sets it apart.
  • Recent Grant Funding & External Capital Raised – Include any recent funding rounds, grants, or investments you’ve secured.
  • Major Milestones – Highlight key achievements, such as product development, user growth, or partnerships.
  • Gross Revenue – Provide your gross revenue over the last 12 months.
  • Projected Revenue – Include your projected revenue for the next 12 months.

If you’re selected as one of the top applicants, we’ll be in touch with further instructions to guide you through the next steps. This will include more information about your team and the key individuals involved in your startup, such as founder bios, details about your revenue model and business strategy, and other relevant assets like your company logo and any supporting materials.

Once shortlisted, you’ll need to prepare a 3-minute pitch, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session, where you’ll present your vision, product, and value proposition to a panel of leading VCs and industry experts. We’ll provide tips and guidance to help you prepare and make the most of your pitch!

On Day 1 of LegalTechTalk 2025, you’ll take the stage for your 3-minute pitch, followed by a 2-minute Q&A with our panel. This is your opportunity to showcase your startup, answer questions, and make a lasting impression.

After all the pitches, the winner will be selected and announced live on Day 2 of the event. The winning startup will be recognised on stage in front of an audience of legal professionals at the top of their fields, decision-makers, investors, and innovators.

The LegalTech LaunchPad competition, hosted by LegalTechTalk, offers startups the chance to pitch their business to leading VCs, industry experts, and decision-makers at LegalTechTalk 2025. The winner will receive equity investment and invaluable exposure.

Your pitch deck should provide a clear and compelling snapshot of your startup. Be sure to include:

  • A short company bio (250 words max) outlining your solution and the problem it solves
  • Number of current employees
  • Your value proposition (summarise your business in two sentences or less)
  • Any recent grant funding or external capital raised
  • Major milestones to date
  • Gross revenue over the last 12 months
  • Projected revenue for the next 12 months

Make sure to share your pitch deck as a Google Drive link, WeTransfer link, or similar accessible format.

You can send your pitch deck by providing a link to the document within your application form. Acceptable file-sharing platforms include Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or any similar service. Please ensure the link is accessible and that we can easily view or download the document.

You’ll be notified within two weeks after the application deadline if you’ve been shortlisted to pitch at LegalTechTalk 2025.

Out of hundreds of applicants, we’ll shortlist the top 30 startups to pitch live on Day 1 of LegalTechTalk 2025. The winner will be announced live on Day 2.

Each shortlisted startup will have 3 minutes to pitch, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with our panel of experts.

Applications/ pitches will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation of your solution
  • Market potential and scalability
  • Business model and revenue projections
  • Pitch quality and clarity

Yes! We’ll provide tips and resources to help you prepare your pitch and optimise your presentation before the event.

Founders or key team members must be available to pitch in person at LegalTechTalk 2025. If you're unable to attend, you may not be eligible to participate.

Yes, shortlisted startups will receive two free event tickets for LegalTechTalk 2025. At least one of the tickets should be allocated to a founder or key team member who will pitch.

If you’ve already purchased a ticket to LegalTechTalk 2025 and are shortlisted to pitch, we will refund the cost of one ticket for the presenting team member (who should be a founder or key individual involved in the pitch). Just let us know, and we’ll arrange the refund.
