Eversheds Sutherland has introduced a new global leadership role, appointing Partner Nasser Ali Khasawneh as the Global Head of AI. In this position, Nasser will report to Co-CEOs Lee Ranson and Mark Wasserman, taking on the responsibility of leading the firm’s outward-facing AI strategy, with a particular emphasis on generative AI. Moreover, he is tasked with ensuring harmonization between the firm’s AI client advisory practice and its own utilization of AI and generative AI within its operations.
Nasser Ali Khasawneh’s professional expertise centers around technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) matters, as well as dispute resolution. Over his career, he has served as counsel to some of the world’s most prominent information technology, media, and consumer corporations, offering guidance on a wide range of commercial, licensing, cloud computing, and intellectual property-related concerns.
