At the recent partners’ meeting, Massimiliano Danusso was elected as the Chairman, and Eliana Catalano as the Managing Partner of the firm. They will officially assume their roles on January 1st, coinciding with the end of the current board’s term. The appointment of other members of the new board will be determined at the December partners’ meeting. This leadership transition was previously announced, with Stefano Simontacchi and Andrea Carta Mantiglia, the outgoing Chairman and Managing Partner, respectively, stepping down as the firm begins to execute its new Multi-Year Strategic Plan.
Massimiliano Danusso is a banking and finance law partner who has been the Managing Partner of BonelliErede’s London office. He is also a leader of the Debt Capital Markets Focus Team and a member of the Banks and Insurance Focus Teams. Eliana Catalano, on the other hand, joined BonelliErede’s Milan office in 2001 and became a partner in 2009. She specializes in corporate and M&A law, with a focus on private equity, and is the leader of the Private Equity Focus Team.
