Bird & Bird, the international law firm, has announced the appointment of Hélder Santos, a technology specialist, as the new Head of LegalTech and Innovation. Hélder brings with him extensive experience in implementing digital transformations for clients, having worked with diverse teams and practices on a global scale. Based in Bird & Bird’s Frankfurt office, his primary focus will be on advancing the firm’s initiatives related to current and future LegalTech solutions across its worldwide locations. He will collaborate closely with the firm’s international leadership team, which includes Sven-Eric Heun, a global executive committee member renowned for his expertise in technology and data.
Hélder’s appointment is a strategic move by Bird & Bird to bolster its capabilities in offering technology-driven solutions for its clients and improving overall client service. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, Hélder held the position of Head of LegalTech Solutions at KPMG Law and previously led the IT & Digital team at CMS.
