The law firm Freeths has advised to Oxford University’s Wadham College about the Planet Positive Lab. This is the first-ever university-based, industry-supported climate tech program for students, professors, and alumni.
Planet Positive Lab is a new project involving Wadham College, Founder’s Factory, and the Planet Fund, which is an investment fund focused on ClimateTech.
This program, Planet Positive Lab, offers climate guidance, operational assistance, and financial support to students, professors, and alumni who want to promote science-based innovations that tackle the global climate crisis.
Malin Svanberg Larsson, a Corporate Partner at Freeths, expressed excitement about helping Oxford University’s innovation efforts with the development of Planet Positive Lab. She emphasized the importance of nurturing the next generation of companies dedicated to climate and environmental solutions.
Peter Alsop, Finance Bursar at Wadham, mentioned that they are searching for the next generation of leaders who can create solutions for the climate crisis. He also praised Freeths for their support, highlighting Malin’s reputation and expertise as a corporate tech partner.
