WilsonAI, the AI-powered legal assistant transforming in-house legal operations, has raised a $1.7 million pre-seed round led by Nomad Ventures. Additional participants include Autopilot Ventures, Entrepreneur First, Transpose Platform, and key strategic angels, including Mei Z, and several exited founders and law firm partners. The funding will accelerate WilsonAI’s development of the world’s first AI paralegal, an AI agent that seamlessly integrates with legal teams’ existing systems and data, automating repetitive legal tasks such as handling routine legal requests, answering common questions, and reviewing contracts.
WilsonAI eliminates the legal bottleneck by handling routine contract reviews, responding to frequently asked legal questions, and integrating seamlessly with internal legal knowledge bases. This allows in-house lawyers to focus on strategic legal work, improving response times and overall legal efficiency without additional headcount. WilsonAI is building a proprietary Legal Large Action Model (LLAM), which enables it to understand legal workflows and improve automation over time. Unlike static AI tools, WilsonAI continuously refines its capabilities based on real-world usage.
