Rolls-Royce has announced the appointment of Kimberly C. Hicks as General Counsel for Defence and Rolls-Royce North America (RRNA). Kim will be a key member of the Defence and General Counsel Leadership teams and will be based in Washington, D.C. In this role, Kim will lead the global Defence General Counsel team and oversee other General Counsel team members located in the United States. She will also join the RRNA Board which is accountable for oversight of their Special Security Agreement with the U.S. Department of Defence.
Kim joined Rolls-Royce in 2022 and has been serving as interim General Counsel for Defence and RRNA since January 2024. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Kim led the litigation and investigations team at Accenture Federal Services and served as legal counsel at Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Headquarters and Space Sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a juris doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
